It is not very easy to have an alcoholic to look for help.  They won't easily face the fact that they are having a drinking problem beyond their control.  You should look for these signs in family and friends.  Help them establish a method to control or eliminate alcohol.  You may also need some help as well.  There is an organization called Al-Non/Alateen to help those individuals affected by an alcoholic in their lives.  They will guide you how you can help an alcoholic, as many people end up harming them.  Visit their website at http://www.al-anon.alateen.org/
